Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-06-03

1. The service

KEOBOOKS is an AI-augmented bookkeeping platform operated by Brickstone & Associates, LLC, with technology by Korastratum. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for the business or individual entity you onboard. Keep your credentials confidential. We require email verification and recommend enabling two-factor authentication.

3. Plans, billing, trial

Plans are billed in advance via Stripe in US dollars. A 14-day free trial requires a valid payment method up front and auto-converts to the paid plan unless cancelled before the trial ends. Cancel any time from the customer portal; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. The CPA-review distinction

On Professional+ and Business+, Brickstone & Associates reviews each AI-proposed journal entry before it posts. On Starter, entries auto-post without CPA review and reports carry an "AI-prepared, not CPA-reviewed" disclosure. Tax preparation is a separate professional service offered by Brickstone and is not included in any plan.

5. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the documents you upload, the timeliness of your reviews/approvals on tasks routed to you, and your underlying tax obligations. KEOBOOKS does not constitute legal or tax advice.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use KEOBOOKS to process documents you are not authorized to share, to attempt to access another customer's data, to probe security beyond the channel at security@keobooks.com, or for any illegal activity.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach with reasonable notice. You may export your data at any time before termination via the customer portal.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties; total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior 12 months. Specific carve-outs (data loss, gross negligence) will be set by counsel.

9. Changes

We will notify you by email and on this page before any material change. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the Commonwealth of Virginia (Brickstone & Associates' principal place of business).
