In You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown Lucy does everything she can to squeeze out her word count on her book report. If you’re down to your last few hundred words, listen to her and learn!
This has been a really fun month. I’ve enjoyed reading up on everyone’s stories. Congrats to everyone who won this month. I am looking forward to getting updates on your revisions. Keep up the great work!
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to redeem a few winners’ rewards. The firs thing I’ll do is get the premium membership on Scribophile. I’ve been a member for a while and it’s well worth it. I haven’t been on in a month or so, but I love it when I have the time. It’s the best critique site I’ve come across.
I’m also taking the discount on Scrivener. I already have the iOS version, and I LOVE it. There are some features on the PC version that I don’t have access to on the tablet. I can’t wait to do the heavy revisions on the desktop!
I’ve checked out Pronoun. This site is awesome if you plan to self publish. It’s a site that sets everything up for your ebook so it can get out on Amazon or anywhere else easily. Everything is free. The NaNo prize is a special layout only available to participants. You don’t have to win to get this! The only downside is that there is currently no options to make your book free. They say they are working on it.
I’ve used Evernote for years. It’s very nice even without the Premium features. Three months free? Why not?
EThis last day was a bust word wise. I did finish the draft. But I had to erase and reset my iPad (Do NOT remove your device from Find My Phone! You can’t just put it back on!) It took a LONG time to reinstall. Thank goodness I lost no part of the story! Whew!
